The Krakow Arena is practically ready; currently, the contractor – The Mostostal Warszawa Group – is in the process of delivering of the facility to the investor – Agencja Rozwoju Miasta. This means that, among others, ready car parks, ice rink, skyboxes, small hall, corridors, toilet rooms, operating systems, technical equipment and many other elements that the modern Krakow Arena complex consists of are undergoing a thorough inventory and soon will become a valuable property of Agencja Rozwoju Miasta.

Staff training on the servicing of operational systems and devices such as the ice rink and its installation rigging, security and fire systems, sound, stage lighting are already taking place in the facility. After the long May weekend, the equipping of all lodges and functional and service spaces will start. The green area surrounding the compound is being arranged. Also at the beginning of May, the entire property will be subject to a careful monitoring by a security company, which will allow to take away the existing fence.

The Krakow Arena is ready to welcome its first guests who as soon as on May 30th will enjoy its potentials during the first event– the film music concert of the Pixar studio, organised by Krakow Festival Office. That is why in addition, due to the upcoming events as well as the function of a facility of such an immense cubature – unique not only in the scale of the city but of the whole country as well – the performer together with the investor are working on the above-standard evacuation solutions during mass events.

– This is the first such large facility in Poland. And although the Krakow Arena is ready to take guests, before they enter our hall we once again make sure that safety requirements – which we regard as a priority – are met in every area possible – says Zbigniew Rapciak , CEO of ARM SA .
– Such prevention will allow us to avoid the risk associated with the organization of events, where people will participate – emphasises the President.

For the contractor and the investor, the preparation of various evacuation scenarios is not only of particular importance. It will also be the guarantee of security for the events taking place in the facility. Indeed, so far no other sport and entertainment construction in Poland could accommodate such a huge number of people under its roof.
