The Art of Living Well
Topic: about savoring the everyday
April 10, 2025 (Thursday)
hr. 18:00
Western Conference Room
TAURON Arena Krakow
The next meeting of the Art of Living Well series will be devoted to positive psychology and savoring everyday life. The lecture will be followed by workshops - this time you can create a dream map or take part in a holistic BODYART® workout.
The April meeting of the Art of the Good Life series will be an opportunity to introduce the basics of positive psychology. Project leader specializing in positive psychology Monika Olejniczak will present the concept of well-being in the social, spiritual, mental and physical areas - based on three main scientific concepts: hedonism, eudaimonism and the PERMA model. He also promises to answer the question: what makes people happy?
Each of the meetings of the Art of the Good Life at TAURON Arena Krakow - a year-long series devoted to emotions and mental health - consists of an open free lecture (you just need to download a pass) and ticketed workshops conducted in intimate groups. Due to very high interest in both the lectures and the accompanying workshops, there will be as many as two workshops after the next meeting. One will be an opportunity to create dream maps, and the other is an invitation to BODYART® training.
More life in life
Those attending the lecture will talk about how the level of happiness is affected by genetics, the circumstances in which we live, and our conscious choices regarding daily activities.
- This is an excellent basis for building positive interventions, which are practical tools that help raise happiness levels and savor everyday life to the fullest. Participants will learn how to use the PERMA Model developed by Martin Seligman to create their own positive interventions. Thanks to this, they will learn to actively create happiness both at work and in their personal lives," Monika Olejniczak announced.
Monika Olejniczak is also the author of the book "Savoring the Moment," which will be available for purchase during the meeting.
A workshop about dreams
The lecture will be followed by a workshop that will provide an opportunity to use positive intervention and create dream maps. Led by a trainer, participants will enter a relaxed state that will help them focus on their dreams and then transfer them to specially prepared sheets. A dream map created in this way allows you to focus on what is most important in building a good, meaningful and happy life.
Holistic training
The second workshop scheduled for April 10 is BODYART® - a holistic workout that interacts with the body and mind, helping to find mental and physical harmony and balance. Its goal is to ensure the proper functioning of the human body as a whole. It is based on the yin-yang concept, the theory of the five elements and traditional Chinese medicine, and also draws on the yoga tradition.Conscious breathing also plays an important role in this training. The BODYART® lesson will be led by psychologist and bodywork therapist Beata Krokowska.
Workshop: Cost: £20, registration required
