Did you know that rest is more than sleep or a lazy afternoon on the couch? It's conscious care for your body and mind, tailored to your individual needs. If you want to learn how to regenerate yourself fully and discover what kind of rest is best for you, attend the next Art of Living Well. The lecture "Here and Now. The Art of Conscious Rest" and intuitive dance workshops will be led by Romuald Krysiak, and the "My Power, My Resources" workshop will be led by Beata Krokowska.

Lecture: Here and Now. The art of conscious rest

The meeting on relaxation will be in the form of a mini lecture combined with a panel discussion. It will begin with a short guided meditation to help participants relax and get in touch with their bodies and emotions.

- Then we will talk about how we understand rest. You'll learn about the types of rest, ways to recover effectively, and why sometimes, despite a day off, we still feel tired. We'll share ideas for your dream vacation - perhaps you'll discover inspiration that will change your approach to relaxation. Learn how to relax so that you have more energy for what really matters," invites Romuald Krysiak.

At the end of the meeting, the presenter will again offer a short meditation, so that participants will leave the meeting fully recovered and ready to implement changes.

Workshop: intuitive dance

Intuitive dance is a form of movement that works therapeutically, even though it does not have a strict pattern or choreography. It involves moving to a rhythm dictated by the body and expressing emotions in this way without shame or fear of judgment. Honesty with oneself, authenticity, spontaneity and simplicity are key.

- Intuitive dance helps release negative emotions and excess thoughts, increases energy and joy, preparing us for new challenges. It develops intuition, trust in one's own body and the belief that we are good enough. It is a practice that allows us to understand ourselves more deeply, release emotions and tensions, and build a relationship with our bodies. It helps us become more present, creative, authentic and happy. All we have to do is let our body lead us in dance, and we will discover its healing properties," explains Romuald Krysiak, who will lead the workshop.

She also suggests focusing on yourself and your inner world while dancing intuitively. And she invites to the workshop all those who are open to working consciously with their bodies and want to improve their relationship with themselves and the world, regardless of age or dance experience.

Workshop: My power, my resources

The second of the workshops organized as part of June's Art of Living Well will be devoted to resources. In psychology, resources are called, among other things, traits, values, experiences, skills and factors that help us cope with challenges and develop potential.

- In the field of therapy and personal development, we often deal with the medical paradigm. We focus on what to change, heal and forget how much we have already done and how much good, healthy, constructive is in our lives. During the workshop "My Power, My Resources" you will see, feel and realize how much you have and how many resources there are in every role you play - in relationships, family, work, self-realization.You will experience what is constructive, creative, causal, powerful, but also soft and sensitive, simply yours, " invites psychologist and body work therapist Beata Krokowska.

She adds that those participating in the workshop will work with a resource map, a proprietary tool at which emotion and gratitude for who we are and that we are emerges.
