"Visible and strong - about building self-confidence and assertiveness"
Conducting: Katarzyna Haler

TAURON Arena Krakow

Self-confidence is not a quality one simply has or doesn't have - it's a result of how we think about ourselves, how we regulate our emotions and what decisions we make in moments of tension. Many women, despite their competence and experience, still belittle themselves and don't have the courage to speak directly about what they want and need. How to change this?

During the April edition of "The Art of the Good Life" at TAURON Arena Krakow, we will talk about this with psychotherapist and wellness coach Katarzyna Haler. Instead of trying to "be more confident," it's worth understanding the mechanisms behind it and learning to act in a way that reinforces a sense of influence and internal consistency. Assertiveness isn't about fighting, it's about being able to be visible without giving up on yourself. It is what allows you to build respectful relationships, make decisions with greater confidence and reclaim space for your own needs - without feeling guilty.

Katarzyna Haler - Psychotherapist and wellness coach. Since 2008, she has been running her own therapy practice and supporting organizations in developing mental health programs. She specializes in building mental resilience, coping with uncertainty and stress. Catherine is also the author of webinars and online courses that help people around the world cope with burnout and maintain balance in their lives. She believes that at the end of life no one hands out medals for being tormented forever, so it's worth building daily habits that allow you to live well, not just survive.

WORKSHOP I: "Confidence has a voice - how to speak to be heard ". Conducting: Katarzyna Haler

This is a workshop in which we descend from the level of knowledge to experience. We examine what confidence and assertiveness look like in the body, voice and contact with another person. Instead of talking about courage, we will start practicing it in safe but real situations. We'll practice working with non-verbal communication - posture, eye contact and presence, which reinforce (or weaken) the message, often before the first word is spoken. We will also reach out to work with the voice to make it a vehicle for confidence and clarity, rather than tension or withdrawal.

WORKSHOP II: "Look at yourself with a more sensitive eye - towards body sensitivity and confidence through yoga, breathing and meditation". Conducting: Katarzyna Roik

This is a workshop for people who want to slow down for a while and meet themselves in a more gentle, mindful way. Through a calm, body-sensitive yoga practice, breath work and meditation, we will create a space to calm down and return to ourselves. This is an invitation to see ourselves differently - with more kindness, softness and acceptance. In such a retreat, there is often more peace, and a natural sense of confidence begins to emerge on its own, along with a willingness to be yourself without too much tension. Regardless of your age, gender, fitness level or experience with yoga, you will find a space for you here.

Katarzyna Roik - founder of Kahuna Studio in Krakow, an inclusive space where everyone can feel at ease while practicing on the mat. Through body-sensitive yoga, breathing and meditation, she supports the discovery of one's own strength, joy of movement and gentle presence in the body. She leads yoga trips for women that combine practice with surfing and photography sessions. She completed a 3-year teaching course with Agnieszka and Maciej Wielobob and has been passionately sharing her knowledge and experience for 4 years.

WORKSHOP III: "The power of aromatherapy - creating botanical perfumes". Conducting: Kamilla Paliwoda

Join us for a unique meeting to discover the world of natural fragrances and their effects on well-being. Workshop participants will learn the basics of aromatherapy and the properties of essential oils. During the class they will have the opportunity to create their own unique perfume composition, tailored to their needs and emotions. The workshop will combine knowledge with practice, thus developing creativity and sensitivity to fragrances. It is also a moment of relaxation and tranquility, fostering attentiveness and contact with nature. The meeting will be an inspiring journey into the world of scents and senses.

Kamilla Paliwoda - by day a Polish language teacher and lecturer. Having completed art therapy and a course in aromatherapy, she shares her passion for art and scents with others. Through training, she supports adults and children with essential oils for physical and emotional ailments. She combines her arts and crafts with nature. She holds a degree in Polish philology from the Jagiellonian University. She has won art awards, and is the author of poetic reflections and articles related to business and advertising.
